Summer Outreach 2022

What a summer! Thus far, we have had 3 exciting missions in England, this year. This week we head to Scotland, so I wanted to give you an update before we head into mission #4. We started in June with a Mission at St. Thomas Baptist Church in Exeter. In July, we enjoyed the fellowship of the chapel in Bere Regis and we just now completed our mission with Zion Community Church in St. Ives, Cornwall. These wonderful churches had a heart to reach into their communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we are so grateful to have been partnered with them, this summer!

The Americans and British Christians who have made up our GO Teams have been a joy to work with. Self-less, giving, caring people, who have spent their time, their money and their personal resources to give generously to the communities we have set out to reach with the Gospel.

Some of our activities? Door to door conversations, mother and toddler groups, preaching, sharing our testimonies of how we came to faith, cooking for the team members, teaching how to clearly community the Gospel, Saturday Fun Days for the community, music, visiting the housebound, praying for those we had conversations with, providing resources for the church, and building relationships for the encouragement of the church.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about our ministry, please do connect with us. We love to connect workers with a harvest field that is ripe for the harvest.

For your encouragement, please read John 4: 34-38

34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. 36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. 37 Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. 38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.” John 4, NIV

Yours in His service,

Wyatt & Vicki Gwin

  1. Praying for y’all. The Queen’s funeral gives quite an opportunity to engage others with the Hope we have in Christ.

    caye

  2. I believe your visit was timed to the Queen’s death. She told an interviewer once that she hoped the Lord would return. When they asked why she said ” because I would love to lay my crown at His feet”. Everyone saw the double rainbow as her death was being announced. I can’t help but think God has gone before you to ready the hearts of the people you will contact to respond to the gospel. Yay Jesus

  3. God will continue to strengthen you both. We will keep on praying. Jesus Christ is our Lord!!!. All praises to God!!!
    Warm Regards
