Dear Faithful Friends & Prayer Warriors,
I headed out to Europe last Sunday evening for five weeks of ministry opportunities.
I will be in Switzerland for about ten days to work with a friend who has invited me and several others to be a part of a group that will be involved in eschatological research for a book that he in the process of producing.
After that I will be in London with a GO TEAM from Birmingham, Alabama to help with a church planting effort and then I will be in Scotland with a GO TEAM that will continue to help a church that we have been partnering with for the last four years. Please continue to pray for us as we seek to obey the Great Commission. We are told to go and win souls to, make disciples and to help multiply God’s church.
The three GO TEAM missions in June and July went very well. We sensed an openness to the gospel that we have not seen before. We have been partnered with all three of the GO TEAM mission churches in the past and I believe that the seeds of the gospel in these communities are coming forth into fruition.
We are working with ground that has lain spiritually fallow for sometime and often it takes a repeated effort of preparing the soil, planting the seeds, fertilizing the ground, watering and pulling weeds before we start to see fruition of the gospel.
I also believe that when God’s people stand on the authority of His Word and step out in faith believing that He will produce a harvest of souls because He loves people and wants them to have eternal life. I don’t believe that the Lord has told us to go win souls, make disciples and multiply His church just to frustrate us by not blessing what He has told us to do!
We will keep you informed and ask you to pray as we are moving out to follow Jesus in the weeks ahead! We want to thank those who have chosen to support our ministry financially and we would like to ask others who haven’t been on our financial support team to consider getting involved with us on that level.
